A warm farmhouse-feel kitchen built around a full-width range cooker with a black chimney hood above it. Cream shaker doors, speckled worktops and a slate-effect floor give it that settled, always-been-there character.
The units either side of the range were sized so the cooker sits perfectly centred under the hood, with worktop landing space on both sides, which is exactly how a range should be fitted and frequently is not.
It is a cook's kitchen first: everything heavy lives low in drawers, everything sharp lives high, and the range is the star of the show.
